GRANT PROGRAMS
The mission of Synergy’s SD-Emergency Artists’ Support League (EASL) and SD-Performers & Writers Emergency Relief (PWER) is to provide limited emergency financial assistance to San Diego County's art professionals and arts organizations who are in desperate need because of a medical crisis, accident, fire or loss of personal and professional property.
The maximum annual grant is $1,000 per emergency or $2,500 for a major crisis for individual applicants and $1,000 - $3,000 for arts organizations. The EASL and PWER fund is restricted to qualified, professionals artists and arts organizations (of all disciplines) who have resided in San Diego County for a minimum of two years, and who have a record of exhibitions/performances and/or significant involvement in the arts community.
Grants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Abiding by a strict policy of respecting confidentiality, Synergy Arts Foundation will not reveal names of applicants or recipients if so requested.
EASL and PWER grants have designated funding from SYNERGY ARTS FOUNDATION, and is operated by a volunteer board so that maximum funds may be distributed to artists in need.
Synergy Arts Foundation raises funds from individual donations, grants and from fundraising events.
